During the meeting the coach seemed to have gotten railroaded as the Goodrich ISD Administration attorney brought up incidents that has taken place 10 years ago.
In the opening moments Kings lawyers made the argument that the board was leaning on information from the past that had already been addressed by the past administration, but they were still allowed to play videos from 10years ago.
During the session the small town community showed up in big numbers to speak on behalf of the man they call Coach King. Not only was Coach King recognized for what he did on the court, but off the court as well.
Many view the coach as a pillar of the community that was snatched away from them by a board that stumbled upon knowing how to even run a meeting in the first place.
Many in the community feel this move was a personal attack against Mr King. Due to those allegations, we will be conducting our own private investigation to see how qualified are the board members with access over the districts day to day operations of the schools business.
